How to react when you’re triggered

How to react when triggered

Yesterday, I witnessed a disturbing exchange. And it got me thinking.

When was the last time you replaced your posture of defensiveness with a posture of discovery?

Or, instead of reacting with a karate chop you responded with kindness?

The knee-jerk reactions I just witnessed put the emphasis on jerk — not knee.

Look – I get it.

We all get triggered every now and then. We all get riled up on occasion.

And… we all have a choice in how we wish to channel our energy.

I’m channeling my energy toward kindness & respect. How ‘bout you?

Cyber safe hugs,
